INFORMATION ON THE DECISION OF LISTED COMPANIES TO DISTRIBUTE DIVIDENDS
Pursuant to the Company law 46, the Boards of Directors of 31 JSCs have submitted decisions to the Financial Regulatory Commission to distribute a total of MNT 94.2 billion among 4,8 billion shares in 2020.
The amount of dividends per share range from the highest of MNT 1,520 per share by Shoe JSC, to the lowest of MNT 1 per share by Mongolian Telecommunications JSC and Monos Khuns JSC.
In terms of the total amount of dividends announced, APU JSC was the highest MNT 75,6 billion and Khuvsgul Khuns JSC was lowest amount MNT 0.8 million.
By31 May, 2020 eight JSCs had entered into agreements with the Central Securities Depository LLC. They accounted for the distribution dividend of MNT 4,3 billion for 315 million shares of 16,507 shareholders.
According to 28th resolution of the Financial Regulatory Commission 29 January 2020 ''On detailed determination of dividend distribution'' dividends distributed in the form of cash or company's shares and other securities can only be paid by the authorized intermediary organization the Central Securities Depository LLC.
The management of publicly traded companies is required to distribute dividends on the basis of the dividend distribution agreement.
Accordingly, the Financial Regulatory Commission has sent notices to the JSCs that did not sign a contract with ''Central Securities Depository'' LLC.
