Within the framework of the “Industrialization year 2009”, the “ Great Development and Investment Forum: Mongolia-2009” /GDIF/ is going to be held on 9-10 April, 2009 at the Government House with the initiation by Coordinate info, LLC and support from the Ministry of Roads, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development, Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency, the Mayor’s office and the State Governor’s office.

The GDIF is aimed primarily at attracting potential investment to the development of construction and infrastructure sector of Mongolia by bringing together Government officials, international experts, foreign and domestic investors, professionals from banking and financial sectors along with foreign and domestic enterprises.

During the forum, a series of interactive discussions will be covered on current situation and legal environment of infrastructure and construction sectors, reduction of excessive bureaucracy, investment opportunities and development challenges as well as promoting investment seeking projects and programs that are significant for social development from the government, local areas, and private enterprises.

During 10-12, April, 2009, “Building and Investment Expo 2009” international exhibition will be organized at Misheel Expo Center, an event dedicated specifically to foreign and domestic investors offering opportunities to promote new technologies and advertising goods and products of construction sector.

The Financial Regulatory Commission’s regular meeting, convened on March the 26^th, has discussed and carried out the renewal for the licenses of Mongol Trust Holding and Niislel Daatgal, LLCs. Moreover, licenses to run insurance representative activities have been revoked and Prime Daatgal, LLC has been granted additional license to engage in financial loss insurance activities.
