BAYARSAIKHAN Dembereldash

Chairman 

Mr Bayarsaikhan joined the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) as Vice-Chairman in 2016, and was appointed Chairman in December 2019. He is a member of the Financial Stability Council, the National Committee of the Credit Guarantee Fund of Mongolia, and the National Council of Mongolia on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating of Financing of Terrorism.

Prior to joining the FRC, Bayarsaikhan served as Executive Director of Microfinance Development Fund; a governmental microfinance development agency. During his tenure, he worked closely with the Bank of Mongolia, and successfully implemented projects with the World Bank, the European Commission and the Asian Development Bank. 

Mr Bayarsaikhan’s career began in 1997 at the Ministry of Finance– as a Financial Specialist - and he now has more than 19 years of experience; working in public and private finance, and the banking sector of Mongolia. During 2016-2019 he served as Board Member of the Erdenet Mining Corporation.

Mr Bayarsaikhan Dembereldash is a graduate of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) and holds a master’s degree - in Public Affairs - from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), Indiana University in Bloomington, USA.

TSERENBADRAL Tudev

Commissioner and Vice-Chairman 

Mr Tserenbadral joined the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) of Mongolia in 2008 as Supervisor at the Securities Market Department and was appointed as Commissioner and Vice-Chairman of FRC in February 2020.

Mr Tserenbadral has an academic background in finance, economics and public management. He started his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and served as Attaché (2004-2007) and Public Relations Officer (2014-2016) at the Embassy of Mongolia in Japan. He served various positions throughout his extensive career at the FRC; Supervisor (2008-2014), Director (2016-2017) and Deputy Director (2017-2019) of the Securities Market Department among other positions.

Mr Tserenbadral has 20 years of experience working for the Mongolian government both locally and internationally. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Liberty University, Mongolia and an MBA from the Australian National University.

KHUDERCHULUUN Nanjid

Commissioner and Vice-Chairman

Mr Khuderchuluun joined the Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) of Mongolia in 2016 and was appointed as Commissioner and Vice-Chairman of FRC in February 2020.

Mr Khuderchuluun has an academic background in economics, statistics and public health. He started his career as Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Head of Department at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (2004-2016). Prior to his appointment as Commissioner and Vice-Chairman of FRC, Mr Khuderchuluun served as the Director of Research and Risk Evaluation Division (2016-2020) and Director of Information Technology Division (2016-2020) within the FRC.

Mr Khuderchuluun has over 10 years of experience working for the Mongolian government both within the education and finance sectors. He is a graduate of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) majoring in Economics and Statistics, and holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Public Health from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.   

BAYARDAVAA Bayarsaikhan

Commissioner

Mr Bayardavaa has been non-permanent Commissioner of the FRC since 2016, and currently serves as Director of the Monetary Policy Department at the Bank of Mongolia.

Mr Bayardavaa started his professional career as a lecturer at the University of Finance and Economics in Mongolia. He has extensive experience of the finance and banking sectors in Mongolia, working at financial regulatory authorities in Mongolia. Mr Bayardavaa worked at the Bank of Mongolia forover 10 years, serving as Economist (2006-2010), Senior Economist (2010-2016), and as Director of the Monetary Policy Department.

Mr Bayardavaa is a graduate of the National University of Mongolia (NUM) majoring in Economics. He holds a master’s degree in Finance from the National University of Australia.

ENKHTAIVAN Luvsandagva

Commissioner

Mr Enkhtaivan was first appointed as a non-permanent Commissioner of the FRC in 2011, and re-appointed in 2016.

Mr Enkhtaivan has an academic background, in mathematics and economics, and worked in various institutions as a professor and lecturer during his early professional career. In addition to his academic tenure, Mr Enkhtaivan has extensive experience of the public finance sector in Mongolia; having worked with various government organizations. He served as Deputy-Minister of Finance and Economics (2000-2004) and Mongolia’s Ambassador to Austria (2004-2008).

Mr Enkhtaivan is a long-standing and a highly esteemed Commissioner of the FRC. He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Germany, majoring in Economics and Mathematics.

BATKHISHIG Baasanjav

Commissioner

Mr Batkhishig has been a non-permanent Commissioner of the FRC since 2016.

Mr Batkhishig has over 10 years’ experience working in the banking sector and held various positions at the Development Bank and Khas Bank as: Economist, Branch Manager and Senior Economist, among other positions. Mr Batkhishig currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Air Expert Travel LLC, one of the leading ticketing agencies in Mongolia.

Mr Batkhishig is a graduate of the National University of Commerce and Business (NUCB), in Mongolia, with a degree in Economics and International Trade.

MANDUUL Nyamandeleg

Commissioner

Mr Manduul is a non-permanent commissioner of the FRC, appointed in 2016.

Mr Manduulhas over 10 years of experience working in the Ministry of Finance, where he served as Advisor (2007-2008), Specialist (2008-2011), Acting Director of the Disbursement Division (2011-2012), and as Director of the Financial Markets and Insurance Division. He currently serves as Deputy-Director of  ETT Mining LLC.

Mr Manduul holds a bachelor’s degree from the American University in Bulgaria, and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
